Cultural capital of Cape Verde, Mindelo is full of talented artists; To the visitor, we offer a tour of charm through the streets of the city, workshops and ateliers of artisans, paintings and visual arts, visit to the exhibitions in the cultural and handicraft centres, home of Cesária Évora, and bookstores that combine the tasting of grogue, punch and liqueurs, with the literature of the poets from Mindelo; The most beautiful part of this tour is the visit to the Guitar Workshop, where you will have the opportunity to see how Guitars, Basses, Ukelele and other instruments are made. Musical instruments that accompanied, singers and players of this island such as ” The barefoot Diva – Cise (Cesária Évora) ”, Bius, Bana, Manuel de Novas, and the most contemporary ones, such as, Ceuzany, Carmen Silva, Deisy Pinto, Jennifer Solidad, Eliana Rosa, Maira Vezo, Aureliano, Cocho, Júlio Costa, Tiago Silva, and Edson Oliveira.
